Understanding the Mission

The mission has two primary objectives on Blue Gate. First, you need to inspect Dodger's stash inside the Traffic Tunnel. After that, you must travel to Pilgrim's Peak and search for Dodger's bag. The bag contains Dodger's Note, which serves as the main quest item.

Because both objectives occur during the same deployment, preparation is important. You should not think of this as two independent tasks. The best approach is to complete both objectives before looking for an extraction point.

Finding Dodger's Stash

Once you deploy to Blue Gate, make your way toward the Traffic Tunnel. This area is located near the central portion of the map, making it a useful reference point when planning your route.

Enter the tunnel and continue toward the relevant section near its end. The stash can be easy to overlook if you rush through the area, so slow down when approaching the objective marker and check your surroundings carefully.

After interacting with Dodger's stash, the first part of the investigation is complete. However, this does not finish Outstanding Balance. Avoid extracting immediately because another important objective remains at Pilgrim's Peak.

Reaching Pilgrim's Peak

Your next destination is Pilgrim's Peak, which lies north of the Traffic Tunnel. The location is recognizable because of its large antenna structure.

Getting to the elevated objective area is easier when you use the available zipline. Once you arrive, search around the red-colored equipment near the designated deal location. Dodger's bag should be found in this area.

Interact with the bag to obtain Dodger's Note. This is the item that ultimately needs to be delivered to Tian Wen.

The note should become your highest priority after you pick it up. If you have a Safe Pocket available through your augment setup, storing the note there is a sensible precaution. Losing a quest item can force you to repeat the objectives during another raid.

Focus on Survival

Once you have the note, there is little reason to continue exploring Blue Gate unless you need supplies or have another important objective. Begin planning your extraction as soon as possible.

The safest extraction route can vary depending on your spawn point, enemy activity, and the current raid situation. Keep an eye out for ARC machines and other Raiders while moving toward your exit.

Avoid unnecessary combat. Outstanding Balance rewards successful completion rather than aggressive play, so spending valuable ammunition on avoidable fights can create more problems than it solves.

Completing Outstanding Balance

After successfully extracting, return to Speranza and speak with Tian Wen. Hand over Dodger's Note to complete the quest and continue her storyline.

The mission rewards players with a Gothic Graffiti Aviator outfit color, an Extended Medium Mag attachment, and a Silencer II. Completing Outstanding Balance also unlocks the next quest, Settled in Full.
