| I’ve always dreamed of being interviewed by big broadcasters, because it feels like a chance to connect directly with listeners and share more than just the song. Getting airplay is great, but an interview seems like a different level of exposure. I’ve never been sure how realistic that is for independent artists, though. Has anyone here experienced an interview with a major broadcaster, and did it actually make a noticeable difference in your career? |

| I managed to land one thanks to a radio promotion company that secured guaranteed interviews with major stations, including in New York. That opportunity let me talk about my music, background, and story, not just have my track played. The effect was huge — fans reached out after hearing me speak, and industry contacts started taking me more seriously. Airplay gets your song heard, but interviews let people connect with you personally, which is just as important for building a career. |

| From what I’ve noticed, interviews stand out because they humanize the artist. Listeners don’t just hear the music, they hear the person behind it. That makes fans more loyal and helps establish a deeper connection. Broadcaster interviews can create lasting impressions that regular airplay alone doesn’t achieve. |
