|
|
Store Update 2.4.0 arrived on November 3 with a fresh look for ARC Raiders players and a small but welcome correction to the Raider Tool. While some players browse ARC Raiders BluePrints for their next expedition, this update is primarily about appearance rather than new equipment or combat options.
The headline additions are the Dead Eye Set and a fix for a visual issue that could leave the Raider Tool showing its default appearance even when a different skin was equipped. Here is what those changes mean when you return to the game.
Dead Eye Joins the Store Rotation
The Dead Eye Set gives players another way to customize their Raider. Its arrival is a store update, not the introduction of a new item that alters how encounters play out. The appeal is in the look: players interested in a different visual identity can check the set in the store and decide whether it suits their character.
As with any rotating selection, availability can change. Check the current store display for the set, its price and any remaining time shown before deciding whether to pick it up. The update announcement alone does not establish that every item will remain available indefinitely.
What the Raider Tool Fix Does
Before the fix, a player could equip a Raider Tool skin and still see the tool in its default appearance. Update 2.4.0 addresses that mismatch, so the appearance on display should correspond to the selected skin.
To check it, equip a tool appearance other than the default in your customization screen, then look at the tool where it is visible during normal play. Compare what you see with the selected appearance. If it still looks like the default, revisit your selection and confirm that the intended skin is equipped before checking again.
Looks, Not New Combat Rules
Neither the Dead Eye Set nor the tool appearance fix is described as a new weapon or a combat mechanic. The tool remains the same piece of equipment; the correction concerns which look is displayed. Players should not expect a different attack, added ability or revised combat behavior from this update.
That distinction matters because a visible change can feel more substantial than it is. The set offers a fresh style, while the fix makes an existing customization choice display as intended.
Looking Ahead to Future Updates
Embark has also discussed a return to weekly store updates alongside a three-week cycle for regular fixes. That gives players a useful rhythm to watch, although the contents and timing of future releases should be confirmed through the game's own announcements.
For now, Update 2.4.0 is a focused cosmetic refresh. Players considering ARC Raiders BluePrints for sale can keep that distinction in mind while exploring the current store selection and checking their equipped tool appearance. |
