I’m trying to plan a long road trip across the Southwest — multiple national parks, small towns, and random stops along the way. But I’m terrible at optimizing routes and finding hidden gems that aren’t tourist traps. Can AI actually help with that, or does it just spit out generic routes?

Yep — that’s exactly why I started using ai trip planner. It’s super intuitive for solo travelers. You can tell it what kind of vibe you want — chill, cultural, or adventure — and it builds a plan that actually makes sense for one person. It even mixes in downtime and walkable routes, which is perfect if you’re exploring alone. The coolest part is that it includes things like cafés, landmarks, and safe areas for evening walks. I tried it during my solo trip to Portugal and felt like I had a virtual travel assistant the whole time. I didn’t overthink anything — just followed the itinerary and added my own tweaks as I went.

I’ve done a few solo trips, and having structure helps a ton. It keeps you from overplanning or wasting days figuring out what’s next. It’s nice to see tools catching up to how people actually travel now.
