Before you even think about jumping into "With a View" in Stella Montis, check your kit and slow down for a second. This job punishes anyone who wings it. The make-or-break item is the Rotary Encoder, and it's rarer than you'd expect when you're under pressure. The moment you find one out in Exodus, stash it in your Safe Pocket and don't talk yourself out of it. People camp routes, squads rotate through, and one bad death can wipe your progress. If you're stocking up anyway, it can help to plan your runs around ARC Raiders Coins so you're not constantly scraping together resources between attempts.

Getting to the Assembly Line
Your target area is the Assembly Line zone, sitting south of the Assembly Workshops and northwest of the Central Corridor. You'll notice it fast because it's loud, open, and usually busy. Expect bots. Expect players. Expect both at once. Don't hang around the ground floor thinking the objective is down there, because it isn't. You need to find the metal stairs and take height. Once you're above the main floor, keep your head on a swivel; those crane lanes and long catwalks give people easy shots. You're hunting for a control room that looks over the line, dim lighting, lots of equipment, and that "someone definitely waits here" feeling.

The Two-Step Interaction Everyone Misses
Inside the control room, it's tempting to flick your flashlight on and just get it done. Try not to. Light in a windowed room is basically an invite for anyone outside. Look along the walls for a yellow-and-black striped box mounted near the racks, then use the Rotary Encoder to activate the server switch. Your quest tracker will update and you'll feel like you're finished. You're not. Stay calm and keep moving in the same room. Walk to the long console desk by the window and find the computer terminal at the far end. It blends in, especially if you're rushing or half-panicked. Interact with it to "identify the correct parts," and only then does the mission actually move on.

Loot Smart, Leave Fast
After the terminal, the objective flips to delivering an Ion Sputter to Shani, and that's where the run can fall apart. The Ion Sputter is Epic rarity and it's not sitting in one neat, guaranteed spawn. You're rolling the dice. Check lockers, shelves, side rooms, and anything that looks like it could hold high-tier components, but don't get greedy once you hit pay dirt. The longer you linger, the more likely someone hears you, sees you, or just decides to sweep the area. If you land the Sputter, route straight to extraction, play boring, and live.

Keeping Attempts From Feeling Miserable
This mission gets easier when you treat it like a repeatable plan instead of a heroic one-off. Run light so you move faster, keep your Rotary Encoder locked away, and don't take fights you don't have to take. If the control room is hot, back out and rotate; plenty of people die because they "just need one more button." And if you're trying to smooth out the grind for gear, stash management, or whatever else you keep burning through on retries, a lot of players lean on RSVSR for game currency and item services so their next attempt starts prepared instead of desperate.RSVSR is where ARC Raiders tips feel like they come from someone who's actually been shot at in Stella Montis. If "With a View" is slowing you down, we'll get you raid-ready: bring a Rotary Encoder, push into the Assembly Line control room, flip the striped server switch, then hit the window-side console you'll probably walk past once.
