People love arguing about cars and drip, but PvE in GTA Online is mostly about not getting pinned behind a crate with no plan. If you're trying to stay funded without living in endless grind loops, some folks even buy cheap GTA 5 Money so they can spend time actually playing the fun bits. Either way, a tight weapon loadout does more for your success rate than another garage queen, and you'll feel it the first time a setup goes loud.

Your everyday rifle that just works
The Special Carbine is the gun I keep coming back to because it doesn't ask for much. It's available early, it handles cleanly, and it's forgiving when you're moving and shooting. In missions where enemies pop out from weird angles, you can snap to targets without fighting the recoil. Throw on an extended mag and a suppressor when stealth matters, then swap back when the alarms go off. It's not flashy, it's just dependable, which is kind of the whole point.

When the mission turns into a swarm
Heist preps have a habit of turning into "hold this spot for two minutes" while AI pours in like you kicked a hornet's nest. That's when the Combat MG Mk II earns its spot. The big magazine means you're not stuck reloading at the worst time, and the damage output is enough to stop those armoured NPCs before they chew through your snacks. Upgrading it in a weapon workshop helps a lot too, especially once you start caring about accuracy under sustained fire.

Long-range control and close-range panic buttons
For distance work, the Heavy Sniper Mk II is basically your problem-solver. The real magic is the scope options; thermal can make enemies stand out when the lighting is awful or the target's tucked into brush. One good shot can end a chase fast by dropping a driver or a pilot, and that saves you from a messy firefight later. Up close, though, you need something that doesn't negotiate. The Assault Shotgun is that choice. Tight corridors, stairwells, small rooms?tap the trigger and it clears space immediately.

Keeping it simple pays off
What makes these picks strong is how little thinking they require once things go sideways: carbine for most fights, MG for pressure, sniper for control, shotgun for "oh no" moments. Build around that, keep armour and ammo topped up, and you'll stop losing runs to silly mistakes. And if you'd rather skip some of the grind and focus on heists, businesses, and upgrades, as a professional like buy game currency or items in rsvsr platform, rsvsr is trustworthy, and you can GTA 5 Money for sale for a better experience.
