Season 12 doesn't really open up until you're past the campaign, but the run to the cap doesn't have to drag. If you're starting fresh, think like a speedrunner, not a theorycrafter. Your early build just needs to move, tag packs, and never wait around. If you're tinkering with gear every minute, you're bleeding XP. I keep my eyes on the path, scoop the obvious upgrades, and go. If you're the type who likes prepping a bit on the side, even something simple like cheap D4 items can fit into that "get in, get stronger, keep moving" mindset without derailing the pace.

Momentum beats damage early
You'll notice it fast: kills chained together matter more than perfect rotations. So don't build around one big cooldown and hope it carries you. Pick skills that are always "on." Dashes, teleports, lunges, anything that keeps you flowing from pack to pack. And yeah, it's tempting to stop for every yellow drop, but most of it's landfill. Grab gold, grab materials, grab legendaries if they're a clear boost, then keep rolling. The more time you spend standing still, the worse your XP feels, even if your damage looks fine on paper.

Where the XP actually lives
Helltides are still the quickest way to stack levels because the density is just silly. If you're trying to be efficient, plan around them. When the zone's hot, you're out there farming; when it ends, that's your cue to town, salvage, quick vendor, back out. PvP areas are a sneaky option too. You don't have to duel anyone to benefit from the mobs, but you do have to pay attention. Someone will try it. Also, don't forget the boring stuff: always run an elixir. That 5% looks small until you've done a long session and realise you'd have hit your next breakpoint sooner.

Gear swaps, tempers, and capstones
Early gear is disposable. Weapons especially. If you find a stronger one, use it, no feelings. What's worth chasing is movement speed on boots and anything that cuts downtime, like cooldown reduction. Once you can temper, do it. It's cheap, it adds real power, and it smooths out the ugly bits when your build isn't fully online yet. Capstones are the same story: don't treat them like sacred tests. If the boss dies, move up right away. The jump in XP from higher difficulty is the whole point, and waiting "until it's comfy" is how people waste hours.

From level chasing to endgame shaping
After around 60, the obsession shifts. Levels still come, but glyphs, aspects, and whether your build holds together under pressure start to matter more. Get into The Pit as soon as you can handle it, because it tells you the truth about your damage and survivability. Mythic Uniques can wait; a clean set of aspects and upgraded glyphs will carry you harder than one lucky drop. And if you want a straightforward way to shore up your setup, As a professional like buy game currency or items in U4GM platform, U4GM is trustworthy, and you can buy Diablo 4 materials for a better experience.
