Former Steelers quarterback and current "Fox NFL Sunday" analyst Terry Bradshaw revealed on Sunday that he is cancer-free after receiving two diagnoses in the past year.Bradshaw said he was prompted to reveal the diagnoses after people asked whether he was OK in last week's episode, in which he appeared winded and needed fellow cast member Howie Long to pick up the slack while he regained his breath.Bradshaw said he was initially diagnosed with bladder cancer, though he no longer has it following treatment. He then revealed he had an i sue on the left side of his neck in March, at which point he was diagnosed with a Merkel cell tumor, a rare form of skin cancer.During today's show, Terry Bradshaw shared that he has been battling cancer over the past year. And its a Merkel cell tumor, which is a rare form of skin cancer. So I had that surgery done at MD Anderson in Houston.Folks, I may not look like my old self, but I feel like my old self. Im cancer-free. Im feeling great, and over time, Im going to be back to where I normally am. So I appreciate your prayers and your concerns.MORE: Bradshaw then received praise from his fellow "Fox NFL Sunday" cast members, who expre sed appreciation that he was still healthy and able to be with them on the show. That's when former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan provided a moment of levity:"And regardle s of all of that, we're just so happy that you're here," Strahan said. "We're happy that you're cancer-free. ANd I think that you're going to give a lot of hope to a lot of people out there who are going through something very similar."But I'm also just curious as to why it took for people to ask what's wrong with you after all these years?"A great moment in an otherwise-serious situation.
