Thanks for the reply Roar, I guess I should have started a new thread.

Well I have looked into this a little. As I will be here longer than 1 year and plan to live hear permanantly, at least three years anyway and have a full National ID number I will have to pay the full 25% and tax like every other Norwegian.

But as the Charger has a valid MOT, thats valid through out Europe and Norway do you think I will have to have the Charger go through the EU Control when it comes to register it here in Norway?

Will the Authorities know its registered over 30 years ago when it comes to paying the import duty?

I hope it all goes smoothly when it arrives here in Norway.

If you register your car this year, my guess is that your first EU Control will be demanded in 2012. If it was a 71, 73 or 75 it would have been in 2011. Rolling Eyes

You will have to bring along all paperwork including bill of sale when registering your car over here. I guess there is a line or note somewhere declaring first year in traffic.
